GT up 7-0 on BC so this is one probably insurmountable for BC :p

Can't wait for College Game Day to be on at 9

BCU's defense is really fast and aggressive, even against the option GT runs. Their offense has been unimpressive. Think our game with them will be close.

I had a thought this morning. What if wacky Bob plans to unleash mid game in a couple weeks a total reversal on punt return philosophy. That he is just going to lull the opposition to sleep and then strike back. I hope that is the case, to surprise Syracuse or UVA with a completely different punt return gameplan.

If Paul Johnson has another losing season at GT is his job in jeopardy?

I dont know about that...but neither squad here would be looking too great as an outsider vying for the B12.

I'm not holding my breath on that thought.

I don't think his job is in jeopardy. His teams are based on getting the right pieces in place on a yearly basis for qb, A and B backs. If one of those isn't on par with the other 3 it's difficult for the offense to be high octane.

A few years ago he took the top 3 rushers in Georgia and made them the QB, A and B. Really just a yearly thing....like most schools not in the yearly discussion.

BC's run D is always great. I am actually encouraged with how dreadful they appear vs the pass against some mediocre receivers.

BC OL is much improved.

how obsolete is the option for a major FBS program becoming? Obviously for the academies and some other schools it works because of the caliber (physically) of recruit they can get and the other restrictions placed on them....but how is GT going to keep up with FSU or Clemson with this offense when its either a 1 or 0 and nothing in between

That's a brutal loss for BC if they don't get down the field.

Ha - BC - RRRP

They got what they deserved didn't they? They moved the ball pretty effectively in the second half.

When they had the chance to salt the game away they played like absolute p#ssies.

Not that I'm not happy it's just painful watching teams coach themselves into losses by being afraid to play the damn game.

BC lost on turnovers, bad kicking, and bad kicking decisions.

They look more functional than we did Thursday, but make more mistakes.

Right now I'd say they shut down our running game, sack BS about 8 times and move the ball better than us.

It's going to be close be decided on mistakes and turnovers. Glad we have much better kickers.

Its classic, a story we have seen many times before at the college and pro level.

That GT drive seemingly had odds of 1 in 100 at the onset. BC's defense totally dominated, running down hill on every play. It goes to show you that when teams are dominating your running game, you have to put the ball in the air and down field or you will never change the negative dynamics at the line of scrimmage.
