KLS with a three but she apparently travels every time if these impartial announcers have anything to say about it.
Idk how you are still listening to that. It would've driven me crazy by now.

Now they complain that UConn is shooting in the dying seconds.

T hits a 15-footer. LCU gets a hoop. Napheesa hits 2 FTs to end the scoring. 95-39.

Collier and KLS a combined 4-18. Collier did stuff the stat sheet a bit.

Ekmark 0-4, all from three.

Huge games for four of the starting five. Hope Tuck is okay.

Lubbock coach praises UConn's effort and personally praises Stewart as Stewie comes over to him to congratulate him for LC's effort.

I thought the defense looked decent, partly because we are bigger, longer, and quicker. The transition offense was good. The half-court offense is a work in progress. Gabby and Kia looked really good. Moriah and Stewie were great.

Oh, Gabby 6-7 from the foul line, 86%. Just 71% from the field.
Nice. Looking forward to seeing how Gabulous has progressed since last year. These exhibitions games are a bit misleading. We'll see what happens in two weeks.

KLS's effort flagged a bit a couple of times ... she had a couple of opportunities to go scrum on loose balls and did not and just wanted to hang a couple or three times on the wing, but from all the preseason chat, from her included, I thought she handled herself pretty well and shooters shoot and finally a few fell and she had that nifty layup Collier feed her on. A good debut.

Hoops, you're right. My biggest observation and improvement of the evening was Gabby 6-7 FT.
