An Exercise in Futility: A 2022 Mock Draft — Prospects Live
With the 2021 MLB Draft in the rearview mirror, we turn to the page to the 2022 MLB Draft. In this outrageous attempt at forecasting next July, several names stuck out as potential Top 10 picks. These are what we landed on in this outlandish exercise that will almost certainly be completely uselesswww.prospectslive.com
It's very early for a 2022 mock, but Crawford is at #10 here
In the linked article it mentions Crawford getting an opportunity at longer outings. Not sure if that is speculation or inside information but I wonder if he could be in line for a starting spot next year.UConn has had its last 5 closers selected in the MLB draft. Considering the amount of attention that Crawford has been getting from his pitching this summer, including the tweets and such from UConn baseball, it seems like Crawford could very well be used in the closer role for UConn next season. If so, he could very well extend the UConn closer draft streak to 6 in a row.
Quite Frankly, I am OVERJOYED and a bit surprised that such a STUD actually made it to UCONN.An Exercise in Futility: A 2022 Mock Draft — Prospects Live
