In between jobs here and trying to be productive doing LinkedIn and other self help things etc and during my reading I came across a bit on Haiku. Apparently those who are in the know say writing Haiku every day has mental health benefits.

Haiku good for you
Challenge yourself evry day

51 miles
Is really close, so how come
they have no titles?
Fif-ty one's too short
Take an alternate route that's
Fif-ty sev-en miles

Still time to rewrite
A five-seven-five haiku
Or a brand new one
We can't be bullied
We're not Blue Demon Dgen'rte
F Goodman, Huskies!
"Blue Demon Degen" ?
Is that what you intended?
Line two puzzles me
No Haiku Guru?
Sprungfeld asleep at the wheel
Hans must step things up
Counting syllables
Is voluntary service
Like starting the thread

Kudos to Storrs Roars
Inish-a-tive is teamwork
We all pull the sled

Hey, give it a try
Start the thread, count syllables,
Teamwork is dreamwork
Who will win tonight?
A Marvin Barnes lead pipe cinch.
UConn beats PC
And one final thing:
Larry Ketvirtis isn't
Walking through that door
Just 19 haikus.
The mojo of the 'yard ebbs
unlike the Huskies!
Field of 68?
Blue Demon Degenerate?
Both are distractions

As to the haikus
Quality not quantity
Is what matters most

Been four hours and Hans
Hasn't chimed in about miles.
And I don't mean Nate.
Patience grasshopper
I don't count that time unit
The same as you do

First stroll neighborhood
With favorite two-year old
Haiku comes after
