Just starting off with the tri-state area, a lot of talent. Don't think we are getting any top 10 kids yet, but Hurley should be able to snag a couple of top 50 or top 100 type kids.

247 Composite Rankings in parantheses

Connecticut
PF Akok Akok (62)
C Tre Mitchell (100)
SF Jaiden Delaire (128)

New Jersey
SF Scottie Lewis (6)
SG Bryan Antoine (7)
SF Precious Achiuwa* (10)
SF Khalil Whitney (56)
SF Lester Quinones* (67)
SG Khalif Battle (123)

*Currently at St. Benedict's where Hurley used to coach

New York
PG Cole Anthony (5)
C Aidan Igiehon (39)
C Kofi Cockburn (44)
G Joseph Girard (170 but has offers from Duke, Michigan, Oklahoma and Syracuse)

Recruiting should be fun again. Who do you guys want Hurley to (realistically) target?

Delaire could end up being a top 50 player..He is better than Akok. He's going to do a lot of damage on the under armour circuit this spring and he had a fabulous second half of his junior season after a foot injury. He should be a top priority. Does he hold an offer from URI?

He will be top-75 in the next ranking for sure. Was the state POY, I believe.

He just switched JuCos down to a good program in Florida and I think he plans to play there next year, although if we need bigs help perhaps he could be persuaded

Joseph Girard Is the real deal shooter he’s about 20 mins from where I am. He gets about 50! 5 to 10 3s a game but all the schools are small and no talent but boy can he shoot. His dad was coached by Michigan coach and like someone said he’s got duke and cuse on him also prolly a long shot but would love to have him

Never heard of him but sign me up. "Duke" and "3s" is all I need to hear.

The exciting thing is knowing that we have a coach who will be able to properly construct a roster, utilize them in an intelligent, strategic fashion, and get them to buy into an attitude of toughness and accountability.

I'm just asking. He is your classic UConn 5.

He was born to be a Husky.
