Just to recap the roster (see below)...Looks like both Phil (237) and Amida (230) gained some muscle. Rock is at 260. I hope the added bulk can fix our rebounding issues over the past few years.

Thin roster as far as #'s go…but a damn good roster full of talent. 5 ESPN 100s (Boat, Purv, Omar, D-Ham, & K-Face), 2 All-American's in D-Ham (Jordan) and Purv (McDonalds), and a whole bunch of National Champions. I love the newly acquired muscle in the front court, and the speed and scoring in the backcourt.

Buckle in cuz its gonna be a great year.

Now i'm no big city lawyer but i've learned a few things from the conference realignment board.

Nolan changes his jersey from 0 to 1 but you know what else uses zeros and ones... binary. Using ascii in binary shows that the letter B is 01000010, read that again to sink in 01000010. B is the first letter in big ten. Coincidence? Yes, or is that what Warde Manuel and Jim Delany would like you to think?!

I remember shaking hands with Rodney and Terrence one-after-the-other in the hotel after the championship and I remember vividly that Rodney was noticeably larger (bulk, not really height). I'm surprised to see their stats so similar.

Yes, we could be real good defensively. The real challenge will be replacing the points produced by Daniels, Giffey and of course Bazz. I also think that we will rebound better than we did the first 2/3 of last year.

Wasnt there a report that Purvis lost 20 pounds? One thing is for sure--there both kind of tall/thick for the PG position.

A little thin as numbers go. Would have liked one of those 5th year guys both Evans and k romah were huge for us, but there is experience and talent , good size up front and in the backcourt and speeeed. This will be fast team. My gut is telling me F acey will break out I think he is ready.
