For those who read too much into Twitter like myself. He liked Adam Finklestein's tsweet about makai'a commitment. Could mean absolutely nothing...

signs are good that this could be commit number two from these signs and him being quoted by Paxton as saying he was amazed. This along with the other tea leaves of following Kai and a few other current players and signs are favorable to a good outcome with this kid too.

i do really like polley a lot, even with his 100+ ranking. The main reason is how he ended his aau season, at both peach jam and fab48 he was stellar and more efficient than kevin knox, his five star running mate. Im not sure if i see lot of daniels; to me what stood out about daniels was his length for defense, for polley i think its his shooting/offense. check this vid from fab48

he comes off as a khris middleton type wing, one who really likes driving hard and finishing with an array of layups and floaters. But his main skillet is shooting you can tell, his shooting mechanics are fantastic.

Been looking for the guy to sit at the pocket of the foul line and shoot it against the zone. Notice his few mid range shots look great - likes to pull up. Would be a very good committ #2

He has the game of a 3 but plays the four. Would be an interesting puzzle piece for sure.

we need one this year ha. i'm guessing larrier plays alot of minutes at small ball 4, that allows ollie to trot out his three best guards; gilbert adams purvis larrier and brimah. thats a crunch time 5 there.

All those foul shots made me think of that Nolan recruiting vid in the layup line! Hope we get him nonetheless! Like the aggressiveness to the goal.

    Can anyone summarize this?

If he does commit, does this affect any of our other targets a la DJ Harvey?

    Thanks!

I bet we get this kid, Ollie seems to like dynamic players so he seems to fit that bill, not the typical 4. The longer it goes the tougher it gets, but this feels good

Is he only a 3*? and only 6'7"? I think we need to aim higher...don't mind him as a plan C/D.

    He's a 4-star and a top-150 player nationally. Relax.

He's rising up the recruiting rankings and we're on him early. Remember Devin Robinson was not even ranked top 100 going into his senior year and was a 5 star by the end of his senior season. Some guys take longer to develop than others.

And he's mostly listed at 6-foot-9 as well. That 6-foot-7 measurement was from early 2015, just before he turned 16. Kid's grown a couple of inches.

If he truly is 6'9, this would make a huge difference in his overall ceiling.

I really like Polley looks like a solid player. Doesn't seem like he's 6'9 in the videos. But maybe he's still growing.

What about my post made you think I wasn't relaxed? I know it's not the best source, but I saw 3* and 6'7" on Scout.com. That's all. I still think they should aim higher. Top 150 is good and all, but for me, I'd hold off and wait for better options, unless they really think he can contribute and be productive.

I know what you mean, but why does everyone jump to the conclusion that anytime anyone says anything they're fired up? Id understand if I went on a huge long rant. I just made a quick comment.
