We all know they'll find a place for Duke in the field, but they have two vs. UNC up still, 2 vs. Louisville, a game against Virginia, and a game @Pitt. Could get ugly quickly.

Their SOS is going to be so high they probably get in no matter what. 19-12 they're looking at an RPI around 38...but in that scenario they'd have still just 1 Top 50 win.

Actually Raleigh will be one of the first round hosts this year; but, the rate that Duke is going, they won't play there because they would likely have to deal with UNC in the 1st of 2nd round as the Tar Heels look to be a #1 seed this year. Regardless of Duke's record, no way they want to play the Blue Devils in Raleigh in an early round of the NCAA tournament as records mean nothing when those two teams play.

Real time RPI projects them to finish 20-11 but has them beating Ville and UVA. I think 19-14 is realistic and they will probably be a 6 seed and play 27-7 10 seed UCONN in Raleigh.

If they are 19-14, no way they are a 6 seed. I know we think the NCAA gives these teams unfair breaks--and sure, they do sometimes--but we're just three years removed from Kentucky missing the field altogether despite being defending champs.

We lost 13 games in 2012 and got a nine seed, so I'm not sure we're in a position to complain about unfair treatment.

I'm also still not at the point where I'm putting a ton of stalk in RPI. Indiana is a good win, a better win than their RPI would indicate. VCU and Georgetown are solid wins.

Their resume to date is pretty weak, though, no way around it. One could definitely argue that UConn has a better resume.
