The aging paradox: The older we get, the happier we are
People of any age don't need things or others to make themselves happy. You can be as happy or un happy as YOU allow. It's a mind set. Happiness is within our selves. Others and situations can make us unhappy but the length of time we remain that way is within yourself.
I must admit that I was a very happy kid, young man. I bounced from one wall to another--no money, no problem.
I had friends nice summer jobs picking Tobacco with friends I enjoyed. Great natural swimming holes to take a bath in--I enjoyed the Army and the Navy it was fun for the most part.
I had good times and I had bad--but I have a wife who always saw the good--any study that ignorse that part of making one happy isn't a true study.
I've seen some miserable old people who were not miserable as youths
It's all in how you want to see the world--half full or half empty--I prefer half empty (too many people)
