The 90's is considered old school for hip hop.

I hear old school almost anything and it has to be 30+ years old.

Why? Because if 90's hip hop is old school, so is MJ.

I started on rap in the 90s but can appreciate some earlier stuff...

Love Beasties, me and my brother used to rock to Special Ed he was killer but not super popular.

Then I really got into it with Tupac and Big. Always a Tupac guy.

Best producer of all time DJ Premier...

GangStarr, A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, De La Soul, Wu-Tang, Souls of Mischief, Pharcyde, NWA...the list goes on

The golden era may have passed but hip-hop is still alive and well you just have to look under some rocks for it. Just do not turn the radio on that is for sure.

I was on the 27 year plan. Left in 92’ with 6 units left to graduate. Finished them in 2013. Started JC initially in 1986.

"You know, a lot of people go to college for 27 years."

KMD or Ed OG & Da Bulldogs....Classic Hip Hop....boyeeee!!!

Solid. Add some Big Shug and you have classic MA rappers covered. I think a lot of people forget Guru was from Boston too.

Statik Selektah is keeping the Boston rap scene alive too.
