White with blue and gold trim.helmet is not too different from what they have been wearing. Fine. Much better than the little Lord Fauntleroy uniforms they wore agaisnt Army a few years ago, that's fo rsure. But why, if you have one of the very recognizable helmets in the game do you insist on changing it? Just because you can? And I don't quite get the rank thing. I guess its a military thing, but do you really want your left tackle pulling rank on the sophomore quarterback???

the helmets are nice.... The more I look at other teams helmets the less I like ours...still love my Huskies ( #HuskUp ) but I keep thinking we could've done a design that might be even better than the ones we have....

Cool, but not quite next generation fighter helmet (And a couple hundred K cheaper too).

With Cheshire CT native and former head of football for both the BE and AAC Nick Carparelli Jr now the head of the UA Collegiate division I wouldn't be surprised to see UA make a push for UCONN's apparel and shoe deal when the current one expires with Nike. UCONN signed a 10 yr deal with Nike in June 2008

Agreed. You look around the rest of college football and see what everyone else is doing with their helmets/uniforms - some hits & some misses . . . . . . then it's easy to look at our helmets and think "this is the best they could do?"
