You know it's a unique day when Maria Sharapova wants to ban grunting.

Anyway, you can grunt all you want, but don't do research nor reprint questions.

1..Founder of Scientology? His first name?

2..Actress(?) is really Milena Markovna.

3..In what nation is Mato Grosso do Sol?

4..Haym Solomon's role in our Revolution?

5..European money-lending troika, IMF, European Commision & European _______ ____.

6..Some in this show(?) asked that Luck Be a Lady Tonight.

7..Word play: One of Africa's largest beasts on college grounds.

8..Tuscany & Calabria are Italian regions; Rome's?

9..Who publicly introduced the concept of "legitimate rape"?

10..Link Mary Wells to "Paint Your Wagon".

11..Cranston, RI is in the news over a dance. Explain.

12..The year CD's were intoduced to the music world?

13..Identify Brit Meredith Kerscher.

13. Kercher was the student murdered in Italy, which set up the famous "Foxy Knoxy" case.

1. L. Ron Hubbard. I'm guessing " L" stands for Looney.
6. Guys and Dolls

11. Cranston was in the news because of their Father/Daughter dance, which was discontinued because not every girl wants to dance and not every girl has a father. Sort of makes sense to me, but what would be wrong with a parent / child dance?

#12. CD's were introduced 30 years ago (1980). I just saw it on the evening news.

1..Give credit to Pinot for L. Ron Hubbard. I get credit for "Lafayette", though the Colonial hero maight have objected.

2..It was reduced to "Mila", as in Mila Kunis of FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS and TV's That 70's Show.

3..Ed4 has the huge state in Brazil.

4..VTC has the Philadelphia Gentleman as a financier. Reportedly a grateful George Washington incorporated a 6-pointed star
(Haym was a Jew) in the design of the dollar bill in his honor.. Look right above the eagle.
(Incidently, VTC could have pointed that out, if he were not feeling less garrulous than usual.)

5..VAUC has Central Bank. Actually VAUC would LOVE to have the European Central bank, but...

6..Pinot & Arnie are the Guys with Dolls, although they don't dress as funny.

7..Bezzz wins the intuitive award by snagging the Hippocampus.

8..Lazio, as VTC attests.

9..And he also has Todd Akin here.

10..Mary Wells had "Two Lovers" ( and she wasn't ashamed). Paint Your Wagons was about Jean Seberg having 2 lovers
(Lee Marvin & Clint Eastwood), and she wasn't ashamed either. A true movie of its time period.

11..Knights & Arnie depict a Father/Daughter Dance being criticized. Full story at 11...or not.

12..VTC does inadvertent research, but his math is fuzzy. Let's see now (imagine Charlie Brown with pencil in hand, his tongue hanging out, leaning over a test)
2012 minus 30 is...is...

13..Sarals recognizes the murder victim in Italy. American Amanda Knox judged guilty.

13. Knox's murder conviction was overturned on appeal. In fact the appeals court found her innocent.
