so overrated, giving him 10 years $300M is crazy

He had the great year last year when the Nationals were awful and he had zero pressure. Numbers this year were very average, would have been the 5th-6th best offensive player on the Sox this year

Guy is a bust in post season so far in his couple appearances. Better come up big on Thursday.

Still young and very talented with room to improve. He was banged up this year that hurt his numbers. You put him in the Sox lineup with all the threats and protection and his numbers are much better.

Yeah, so overrated. A Rookie of the year award at 19, MVP at 22 and 120 career home runs at 23. What a hack.

A .835 career OPS in the post-season. Must have never got a hit with it that low:rolleyes:

I'm not a fan of his but keep in mind he is only 23 years old.

He's been injured all season too. Kid carried the team last postseason against the Giants. Legit the only guy who showed up offensively that series

10 years, 300 for Harper is probably a bargain, to be honest. Guy has a career OBP north of .380 and it's pretty clear his best years are ahead of him.

This is the result of this new world of "everyone has a voice on the internet."

People with takes like this don't realize they're the problem.

What's the major issue with his performance thus far? He didn't hit a homer every AB at age 20-23 in the playoffs? Do people think before making grand statements based on very little?

A Sox fan? He'll be great in pinstripes-just a matter of time!
