wins US Patent. Known as the L-C ligament, it has been shown to completely regenerate ligament tissue inside the knee. Exciting development both for persons with torn ACLs and for UConn.

BTW, it's being trialed in Europe where a patient was implanted with the ligament in June. Dr. Arciero, the UConn orthopedist who performed surgery on Doty, Banks, Kalana, etc., was in attendance for the surgery in France.

Ah, but of course. When it comes to studying knees, who else can, ...can more than the French???
