Open Practice (Update: 10/25 @ 7p @ Gampel)

In years past, there has been an open practice at Gampel, prior to the season. It's usually in October. I'm hoping the open practice at SJU didn't take the place of this one. Anyone hear anything about the usual open practice on a weekday night in Storrs?

And Wednesday, November 2, 2022.

I went to one in 2018 or 2019 on a Saturday. Plenty of room and no invitation was needed. I believe I went to watch some hockey as well after basketball.

I like hearing about Newton's shooting. I was surprised when I checked the stats that Newton's FG% wasn't all that hot last year (37%). Some room for improvement there will help make up for lost scoring.

I’ll bet the 2nd half of the season was better than the 1st….seemed like he was draining them from all over the place after they got through their slump

Scooped some tickets. In years past there were no tickets needed. Attendance was usually like 1,000 people. Last year I was front row. They had real refs. When DH came over near us I asked him if he planned on getting T’d up and tossed. Lol. He laughed and said “we’re all friends tonight.”
