Again, this is great news for UConn. Geno now gets to add the #1 and #2 team to this years OOC schedule. And we don't even have to play our self to do it!

Where does that put us, around eight or nine of the top ten teams?

Good. It just means that Geno's squad can focus on making it unanimously in all polls.

That blonde from Baylor thinks she is!
Well maybe not. But she did say since Danger was the deciding factor in her game, how many games has she had like that since? Of course the fact that The UConn plays with a short bench and played while Pheese, Gabby and KLS were either in foul trouble or ineffective in the first half had no bearing to the closeness of the game. In re-watching the game I'm convinced if our ladies had stayed out of foul trouble we'd have won by 20.

From these vote totals, we know that UConn got all 1st and 2nd place votes except one voter put them in 3rd place. We also know that ND got all 1st and 2nd place votes except either one voter put them in 4th, or two voters put them in 3rd. One possibility is that one voter put a different team (maybe Baylor or Md or SC) in 2nd place, UConn in 3rd, and ND in 4th. In any case, hard to see why anyone would not have UConn and ND as 1-2 or 2-1 at this point.
