Based on past contracts it looks like teams are averaging $2.25 mil more per year during years 1-12 of the old contract. That's in line with prior statements. In return the ACC cedes all Tier 3 rights and does some dancing for specific ESPN time slots.
During the 3-year extension the contract is worth approx $10 mil per team per year over the $12.9 average of the old contract. ESPN is paying out an average of $23 million per team in the last 3 years, years 13, 14 and 15 (assuming a 6% yearly contract inflator as in a prior contract). It basically assumes media rights will be worth double in year 13 than they are in Year 1 ($11 mil with 6% yeary increases through year 15 topping out at $24.87 mil in year 15).
