I really don't get the "check world series since 2010" line.

Are they claiming it is is correct for them to limit the scope in what is being compared but it is wrong when Nestor does it?

Yes, if Nestor was to expand it beyond the time he was in the pitching rotation (longer than just the start of the 2022 season), the comparison between the two clubs is not as stark (one that appears suited to make a run at the playoffs, one that may struggle to finish over .500).

If Sportskeeda were to increase the scope of their comparison, to say the lifetime of the average fan, since ESPN became a thing, more recently, like maybe when th ed internet began, or, and this is a radical idea, the time frame that is universally called the modern era of baseball, the comparison yield far different results than just the most recent dozen years.
