This is probably a silly question, but what is up with her shorts? I hate short shorts in basketball. Not only are they shorter, they are rolled up...I don't get it.

I have a gut feeling that women's basketball shorts will trend a bit shorter than they are, over the next 5-10 years. Probably not 1980s short, but mid thigh wouldn't surprise. There's scattered players all over that seem to be going short, with A'ja as the most prominent. Perhaps the short shorts of volleyball, which is considered a bit more glamorous than basketball, are influencing things.

The shorts may seem shorter because she's jumping.

The Aussies have it figured out

I noticed during the SMU game, the 3 Australia girls (Froling twins & Collins), their shorts were much shorter than the rest of the team. For Australians, I would have expected their legs to be more tanned. LOL

The Frolings are from Queensland... the Sunshine Coast... you know 363 days a year of sunshine & heat. They can burn just walking to their car.

Keep them above the knee ...... material constantly rubbing across the knee is asking for increased area blood flow due to the cloth irritation ... Heart has better things to do in the midst of battle....
