Yep. Moriah will have more firepower on her team than she did in high school, by a large margin. How large? Like 7'0".

Find Stef, Bria, Kaleena, Breanna, or Morgan in their scoring spots, and good things will happen.

I've seen the same thing. Was Jones ever rated higher than Jefferson per HG? Moriah has always been ranked higher per BS (2 vs. 6) and ASGR (2 vs. 7). Suffice to say that both are fantastic and both UCONN and Duke are getting an incredible top notch PG to lead them for the next 3-4 years...

PBR (Premier Basketball Report) is a recruiting service out of Texas and they have always had Jones higher than Jefferson.

I agree about some similarities, though Moriah is smaller but faster.

Thought so. Made teh same mistake but with Prince when I first saw the team.
I think both players will have very good college careers, and it is probably a toss up as to which will be better at the end of 4 years.

Haven't you received the memo? Anyone who plays for Geno will be better at the end of their career. Corollary, no player playing for any other coach will be as good at the end of their career as they would have been had they been coached by Geno. Now go to your room without supper.

Also read a few stories from Texas high school coaches saying that Jones was the best player in the state.... better than O. Sims... best player they have ever seen..
In addition to being the 2 time Texas Gatorade Player of the year...... pretty much says to me that they are on equal footing.

Saw the other posts in the thread... and now it makes sense. I was wondering which games you saw that Jones and Jefferson played besides the McDonalds game. ;)

    Clever sarcasm.

As you know, Jefferson will be spending four years under the tutelage of Geno, who has a very good track record for developing guards. Do you know of any coach with a better track record in that regard? And do you know the track record of the coach the other player will be learning from?
