Marq/Louisville: Nell is screaming that we have another SF/UConn game in the making.

Not quite UCONN-esque...but that was almost a clinic by Louisville in the first quarter.

Heideman is an impressive passer. Interesting that Walz pulled two of his hottest starters in the first quarter. Can't have Louisville being bad for basketball.

Very good team playing in front of home crowd in tournament. They want to make the final four then I would expect nothing less

Pace has slowed significantly since mid way through the 1st quarter but Louisville is still shooting the lights out

Louisville is such a hit or miss team. Today they look amazing. Inside Hines-Allen is outstanding when she's on, Fuerhing can be the bruising post player, and Shook the stretch 4. Durr is one of the most electric scorers in the country, and the other guards can put so much pressure on the ball and are capable of beating you off the dribble or from deep.

They have the tools to win it all, I'm just not sure the consistency is there. I wouldn't be shocked to see them knock off Baylor and then lay an egg against Mississippi State in the Final Four.

Size of Louisville makes Marquette players look like pixies. End of half Louisville 52 Marq 27. Marq. 3 hasn't been falling

Louisville couldn't score more points in a half then UConn did in a quarter.

Just today?

Marquette is an awful defensive team. They gave up 100 to Tennessee in a 45-minute layup drill, they gave up 100 to DePaul in the BE final. If they've played one good defensive game against a good team this year, I didn't see it.
