Is Boeing Brown even considered a college prospect any longer? What's the latest news on him (if any)?

I doubt he will be offered as a QB or WR at the FBS level. Haven't heard much on him since the summer. He could go to an FBS school as a punter, possibly. Maybe he goes somewhere as a preferred walk-on.

Wasn't he suppose to be sitting on 20 offers last year?
A bizarre story to say the least! It's almost as if his father put together a promotional campaign that was all about the marketing, hoping to entice a big program to bite....but the product just never followed along. Feel bad for the kid!

" So for Brown not to have an offer just did not make sense, until you find out the real reason, why he does not have a scholarship offer. Brown is a great Christian, Conservative young man and there is a “Hate-Group” in his Cummunity that has tried everything possible to do everything they can to “Black-Ball” him with the college coaches and up to now, they have done a good job. Brown has actually been in the office of a head coach, getting ready to receive an offer after an outstanding Football camp when the “Hate-Group” called to “Black-Ball” him. In all of my years, I have never seen a “Hate-Group” like this to a High School Football Player trying to get a scholarship to play college football. Even after our story on Boeing Brown was published on Thursday night, I had two people of that “Hate-Group” send negative and hateful comments to me about Brown."

Bizarro world doesn't even begin to describe that. Not a credible story at all. College coaches are for the most part sewer rats. They're scared off by some hate group? Puh-lease.

That just seems too crazy to even be possible! How could they possibly know where he was going...or what coaches he was going to be meeting with and at what time? Sounds far fetched. However, if he had ANY thought that this was for real...don't you think he would have been advised to not tell a single where his next visit was going to be to?

As for his options, if he really wanted to play QB in college...why not go somewhere as a walk-on and prove himself. If he's the real deal, the scholly would follow. Maybe this All-Star game will be his last, and best, chance to shine! Hope so, because he does sound like a genuinely good kid!

http://maxemfingerrecruiting.wordpress.com/

He had to cancel out of that game - read it in the interminable writeup of the game.

Some quarterbacks were not able to attend, and so both the East Team and the West Team offenses were led Alabama quarterbacks. After Mike Richardson (6-1, 195, 4.6) of Marble Falls, Texas and Boeing Brown (6-4, 220, 4.6) of Brookfield, Connecticut had to cancel, Colby Simmons (6-3, 185, 4.7) of Gulf Shores, Alabama, along with his favorite wide receiver Thrisstan Cornell (6-4, 175, 4.4) of Gulf Shores were moved to the West Team. Maison Taylor (6-0, 205, 4.7) of Foley, Alabama joined Norwood at quarterback for the East Team.

I wish Boeing Brown the best no matter where he ends up.

Close... Father played at UCF in the 1980’s as a WR/TE

You would think the "Hate-Group" would have seen this one coming and been all over UCF.

That website is pure gold. Due to the terrible economy we've lowered our prices from $150 to $125. What are the chances that's really Max Staver's father's phone number in the comment?

I love the list of coaches they have at SUPER COMBINE. The bolding of Parcells and Bellichek are especially funny.
