Right now Saturday forecast is "Chance of Rain" but I'm thinking it's going to be just fine. Weather is the biggest factor... hopefully the forecast improves even more. Some quick googling and I saw a 2,500 number the last two years... I would hope that we double it this year.

For the first few years, they'd eyeball 10k. I think the actual attendance started to drop after 2005's spring game. We had crappy weather last year and also a couple of years ago. If there's no rain and temps close to 70, we'll top 5k. Rain again means 2500.

Georgia Southern had 2500 for their FCS spring game. They're UCF/USF in waiting.

Given the season that BC's about to have, that may be the count they get for game day.

Conte.....don't get me started on that morgue......

Word is that BC's # included the players and staff in it. So all in about 70 "fans" showed up.

I read all your posts before I read the link and was thinking, "why should any of us be laughing at BC's attendance figures?" ...then I opened the link and busted out laughing - what a sad story

BC. OMG.

Before reading the link, I too was thinking "with everyone laughing at BC, please please let our attendance be higher."

Is it even remotely possible we don't get even 1,000 let alone bwahahahahahaha 200.

after watching this i would say 200 is a bit of a troll made up #, its looks more like 210 people not 200.

Looks like aside from the SEC spring cotillion, 8-10k is a very respectable number with 5k being not horrible.

The BC program has been run into the ground. Since the day they left for the ACC, they have been a complete non factor in Boston sports. And I bet the ACC money is not even that much more than what they could have made staying in the BE. When they left they had very good football and basketball teams who likley would have continued to do very well in the BE (maybe a BCS game or 2 4-5 years back). Now both programs are jokes.

I went to a couple BC Spring games back in the late 90's. On a ncie day they would have a solid turnout of 10-15k. Basically the lower bowl filled up with comfortable spacing between people/groups. 200 is almost unbelieveable.

The BCU figures are inflated. 200 is the amount of tickets issued. Question is how many fannies actually in seats!

The Channel 3 weather has moved the rain back and the temp up a bit. I don't understand why not everyone has a poncho. Yeah, it can look goofy but it makes the weather a non-issue. I hope it doesn't rain because we have our clam chowder expert scheduled and he doesn't do rain.

What tickets? BC does not "issue" tickets for the spring game. Gates are open and anyone can walk into the game.

At first I thought BC's number had to be a typo.............................

Then it occurred to me...............................................

They were including players and coaches in that number.

If they let people bring umbrellas, JUST FOR THIS GAME, they would have more. Who wants to sit in the rain for a scrimmage?
