Coates just fumbled a 'gimme' pass from MJ under the basket. Announcer commented on the clumsiness of playing together, then they replayed same pass MJ to Stewart for an easy bucket - announcer said, "Not here!"

Puerto Rico 5 for 5 on 3 Point shots. Keeping them in the game. Cuba could not do that which makes Puerto Rico a tougher opponent.

USA leads 24-23. Puerto Rico making all the hustle plays. USA looks sluggish, especially the bigs. Both teams with 9 Rebounds which USA should be dominating.

Mavunga sighting! OK. Sorry. But I must be missing something. She is slow, has bad hands, and plays passive defense. Coates is picking up some serious slack in the post.

Not a great half by any stretch. But not a disaster either. Some of the flat-footed defense needs to be fixed. Finish plays, hit the layups, and keep fighting on the boards.

Puerto Rico is always dangerous if they're hitting their shots. Usually have a quick athletic team that relies on their shooting and team play. Puerto Rico's men's team is dangerous as well.

Puerto Rico Men's and Women's Team both won the Gold Medal in the 2011 Pan Am Games.

It's tough watching MoJet have so few moving targets for her passes. Stewie moves without the ball, as does Shatori and some unidentified other. But generally, the lack of movement is hurting US offense.
