Not just on a personal level, but on a team level as well. Most of the drafted WNBA players have never experienced a losing season since they started playing organized basketball, for Uconn players most have never lost more than a couple of games in any season. Having no control over where they play, and playing on some pretty dreadful teams for most high draft picks is a huge adjustment mentally.
She shot 6-16, but most of the shots were good, and most of the misses were nearly in. She was aggressively looking for her shot--and she found it repeatedly. She's shooting much more off the dribble. I think that getting lighter will help her, but she certainly looked like a good WNBA player last night.
