AE played an outstanding game. The team earned respect. Geno was there for the team despite his personal situation. I am very proud of all of them - team and staff.

AE sure. How about Ines for most improved? She played like a much more experienced player and did herself proud running with the big dogs.

Edwards, but I was also impressed with Ines, she hung in there and did more than what many people thought she would do.

I completely agree with the consensus. MY play of the game was Amari’s block and snatch of a player’s shot attempt, then telling her about it. That the most emotion and resolve I’ve seen in Amari to date. I loved it. Fire and grit are inside of Amari. I hope to see much more of it soon.

That play had to be mentioned here and that effort recognized. On the radio side of the broadcast, Bob Joyce told us that Amari had sore calf. That’s why Geno didn’t put her in before he did (2:30 left in the 3rd quarter).

Aliya was awesome in this game.

Everyone who played deserves our respect after that effort with the adversity they were dealing with.
