Culturally, FSU and Clemson should be in the SEC and UNC and UVA should be in the B1G.

Money-wise and dealing with current weaknesses in the P2, it's the exact opposite. FSU and Clemson are worth more in the B1G and UNC and UVA are worth more in the SEC. Plus, FSU now has a grudge against ESPN and the SEC that is larger than the grudge Notre Dame has with the B1G.

UNC and UVA were in the same conference with Tennessee and Georgia and Alabama long ago. UNC didn’t even play a B10 team the first 60 years it played football. We should never be in a Midwest league. We are much more aligned with Atlanta and Nashville (SEC champ cities) than Chicago or Indianapolis (B10 counterparts).

Keep in mind that the entire purpose of the ACC grant of rights was to deliberately make the exit scenarios draconian so no one would leave early, which makes FSU's position so disingenuous. That said, it's not impossible that they find a friendly judge in Florida to give them a hometown ruling. Another possible approach would see the FL legislature attempt to nullify the grant of rights.

Greg Flugaur is live. There is talk that the end game here is FSU will be B1G school number #19. At that point, Notre Dame and North Carolina are targeted for #20. If neither jump, it will be between Clemson and Miami for the #20 spot in the B1G.

If they leave and don't allow other schools the option to join, it becomes an anti-trust issue.

Why? Don't they have free association rights? Tough to say that a startup league is less competitive than only having a single league.
