Wow, it seems like you guys are impressed by UConn's 50-37 football success and a bowl game over some unspecified seven-year period, whenever that was. If you think a record like that is sufficient to attract the attention of a power conference, then bless your hearts.
Not sure it attracts power conferences, but it presents a strong rebuttals to the argument that UConn can’t compete at the highest level.
They already have.

The last 4 years are the programs best ever … they have gone 25-23, 17-15 in conference.
Ga Southern has more of a reputation.
Ever, as in the past 10 years. And 2 for 3 in bowl games since 2019. Good for them Panthers!

Another kick in the gut for UConn if it comes to pass.
My undergrad advisor had a a sign on his door: The beatings will continue until morale improves. Well, our CR woes have lasted longer than M.A.S.H. was on the air. I just hope it doesn't last longer than Gray's Anatomy.

When you understand Portland (OSU is 100 miles from Portland) and Seattle are over 1300 miles from Phoenix and getting to Spokane is just simply brutal you get a sense of the problems for the Eastern Schools . By comparison UConn is a piece of cake for even ASU just a 4 1/2 hours . Im older than dirt an manage it just fine . The old agument that UConn as an outlier was just destroyed.
Which makes me even more depressed because without that excuse these conferences simply don’t think were worthy. Thats a harsh reality.

Who is in a better position right now - UConn or Washington State/Oregon State?

UConn. A top 5 program in the second most important college sport and far and away the best program in another top 5 sport, with solid success in other sports. Plus a much more highly ranked academic institution in an important area between massive population centers

With a glimmer of hope that they picked up by the B12, I’d say WSU, OSU right now. OSU in top 25 and PAC have a great year thus getting a lot of attention

But if they don’t get a lifeline in the next few months, then their position fades dramatically.

Anyone but UConn is in a better position right now. We have seen that basketball and academics are meaningless in CR. The only thing that matters is football, which is the only sport that UConn gets a failing grade.

Source? Doubt she's making 3 million, instegram followers are not that monetizable, especially when that is the only source of visibility.
