That’s not a good sign
GOKU was adamant that it was UConn, ASU and Arizona with Colorado and said he was going silent until Friday. If he is wrong then he will come back to own up. But honestly, I do not doubt he was in the know for some things...I was hearing the same... just a lot has changed that I dont think even Yormark anticipated. Many more options are opening up... no need to force prior plans now.

This is the beginning of the right sizing CFB and the end of the NCAA.

Five conference shrunk down to four conferences with 20 teams each.

80 schools.

Each of the four remaining conferences has two divisions of ten teams each. Divisions makes it easy to divide up geographically for non-revenue sports. One big conference championship follows and then on to nationals.

Playoff formats needing 4, 8, 12.......any multiple of four, is easy to do.

B1G, SEC, Big 12 and ACC will be left. UConn will have a seat in either Big 12 or ACC.

Just need a few years to get all the pieces moving.
It will end up two conferences.

It will end up two conferences.

I've posted on two conferences as well.

SEC and B1G. 40 teams each. Four divisions of 10.

ESPN will have SEC properties and B1G will be FOX.

It would be more lime NFL with NFC amd AFC.

Alternate which side televises the championship.

I've always thought it would end up something like that. It destroys college football but that seems to be what the decision makers want. They'll both make boatloads of money and the SEC will continue to win every football national title.

Mandel doesn't make any sense. The B1G is not going to have 20 teams and only 2 of the 20 are disadvantaged.

Either you blow up the whole distribution model or you make everyone equal.

What is Mandel going on about?

He said he was going to stay off the board until Friday or next week. And if it didn’t happen he’d come back and take his lumps.
GoKU's exact quote:

This is my last post till this is all done, which should be by Friday or early next week. I stand by what I posted. There will be 16 teams, Colorado Arizona UConn and ASU. If I'm wrong, I will be back here to own it.

Post 14177 in this thread if anyone needs confirmation.

In the past few days, rumors have circulated around the B1G adding: FSU, Clemson, Oregon, Washington, Stanford and Cal.

FSU doesn't need planes to travel to SEC schools.

What current conference opponents does FSU bus its football team to? Which SEC schools (outside of Florida and perhaps Auburn & Alabama) would they bus the football team to?
