Izzo on Ollie (must watch)

I had the pleasure of flying with Izzo from Detroit to somewhere. I first approached him in the waiting area and asked him if it is OK for me to talk hoops with him (I would totally understand if he wanted to be left alone). This was probably back the summer of 2004 or 2005. We spoke for almost 30 minutes before I decided to leave him alone He was extremely complimentary of JC and said that Calhoun would win at least one or two more before he retired. He said the rise of the UConn program was one of the more amazing sports stories...

Izzo is probably the only college coach i like ( other than KO) , one i would grab a beer with and talk hoops. no wonder kids love playing for him. shoots from the hip no b/s
