Everyone knew they had one guy who could beat us. He did. They hit some absolutely ridiculous shots. What is preparation going to do about that?
You mean their best player played like a great player? Calhoun would have focused his entire game plan on stopping him. It was like Hurley didnt know who was on the other team. They hit some absolutely ridiculous shots. What is preparation going to do about that?
Their other guys who weren't Teddy went 7/10 from 3.They had one guy that could beat you. And we let him beat us. That’s bad preparation. Full stop.
Everyone knew they had one guy who could beat us. He did.
We were prepared. NMSU was just the better team
I don’t think he went left once. If so not twice. They had one guy that could beat you. And we let him beat us. That’s bad preparation. Full stop.
You give him those same looks again and he goes 8 for 25.Everyone knew they had one guy who could beat us. He did.
Yeah, that’s fine — it’s the overall garbage on the rest of the team and poor preparation that counts.Their other guys who weren't Teddy went 7/10 from 3.
Roster was constructed to win games 59-56. Tough to win that way. This was not about what they did ( ridiculous shots etc). It was about what UConn did and did not do. Sanogo fouling Allen on the 3. Missing a lay up. This loss was a total UConn team effort.
Against another team? Sure. You give him those same looks again and he goes 8 for 25.
You didn’t watch if that’s your conclusion. One guy scored 37 out of 70 points. This game made us look like the 85 Bears against Kadary the first time around. We were prepared. NMSU was just the better team
Hurley is stubborn. That sums it up.
