Is that a serious question >_>
Seriously. Kids today. They have no grasp of history or anything that happened before their lifetime. :) That's a crazy question from someone on this board.

Has Uconn ever been a number 1 seed in the tournament?
The overall #1 seed I am not sure. One of the 5 #1 seeds in a tournament in 1990, 1996, 1999 and 2006, 2009. Only championship as a #1 seed in 1990. The seeds of the 4 other championships were 2(2004), 3(2011), 4 (2023), and 7 (2014).

We didn't win a championship in 1990. You're thinking of '99.

Yes, 1999. Wishful thinking 1990. Tate's steal, Christian Laettner's shot.:(

Loved Super John Williamson. One tough dude.

Oh, if we're talking overall #1 seed then never since the selection committee only started announcing every seed 1-68 in 2012. In 1999 I guess you could have surmised that Duke was the overall #1 1 seed and UConn was probably the 2nd #1 seed.
