I would like to toss Brittany Hunter's name in the hopper. Not the most successful transfer because of injuries, but probably the most skilled and a terrific teammate.

I support Hunter. A player who could only play 12 min and Geno started her. Part of that was because she needed a long warmup to use her bad knee. But for those 10 minutes she was the best player.

She may not be the "best" player to transfer in to UConn in terms of talent, but she may prove to be the most "valuable" transfer as this year unfolds.

Lou is the most important transfer UConn ever had. Think what this season would look like without her...

What would last season look like without Dorka and the season before that look like without Evina?

It looks like for the next few weeks Lou will be back in the role she was at Fairfield, the primary offensive option - but on a bigger stage and additionally asked to have to add a good showing on defense as well! Not what she or our coaching staff anticipated when she signed on but I have no doubt she will give it her all!
