It was on ESPN (Sportscenter in the 7pm 1/2 hour segment). Haven't seen it pop up again, but keeping an eye on ESPNNews. Betting it reappears @ the 11pm Sportscenter or the overnight, if Bilas isn't fired first.

Jay Bilas doesn't get it. UConn can't make it in the big time because what player in his/her right mind would want to play in backwoods Storrs. Lucky for us, a lot of pretty decent players are plain out of their minds or got lost in Mansfield on the way to somewhere else.

Leading up to that part of the segment was a piece on Geno and Jim Calhoun - neither would go with the flow, didn't acknowledge basketball [coaching] royalty, both were rough, competitive, just wanted to win and would knock heads (including each other's) in order to do it......

Jay B is a Dookie, but he works in Bristol, CT, right in the middle of Huskyland, and can't be immune to the Husky vibe going on there. He may have been infected - we'll see how strong his immune system is

Jay Bilas also worked the women's NCAA tournament for ESPN during the early 2000's. He's spent quite a bit of time around the UConn women's program as well. Bilas breaking down UConn's backdoor dismantling of Tenn in the 2000 championship game is a sound bite is in almost every highlight package of that game. One of the best parts of Game Day a couple of years ago was hearing Reece Davis and Jay Bilas talk about the UConn women's team again.

When Jim Calhoun and Geno hosted the Hoops for Hope Gala to benefit the American Cancer Society, Jay Bilis was there. He seemed friendly with both coaches.

To me Jay Bilas is the best analyst, period ! He calls 'em the way he see 'em , regardless of his past, and I admire that.

Great video. Bilas is the most consistent and objective analyst out there. I may not always agree with his projections, but I always respect how he arrives at his decision. I hate he's a dookie, but what really matters is that he will always give ya a fair shake
