What was that nonsense about the weatherman and the real estate agent? Unfortunately I think properly written journalism is pretty much a thing of the past. In 20 years the Wall Street Journal and New York Times will have headlines like "C U L8er Tim Cook, Apple finds new CEO, LOL ;p"

Yup... And he's basically thrown every possible name (except Jeff Hathaway) out there as a replacement for Flipper that way he can say he "knew".

There was a time when the Globe's sports page was lauded as the best in the land. I can't believe this guy worked there, although they seemed to have kept him safely away from the only Boston sports that matter.

As I said months ago when he threw 13246 names for the NNNNBE commissioner, the guy's a joke.

His writing is unreadable, every opinion is prefaced as "we think" when he's the only one at the blog, etc.

Whenever he's presented with facts to say that Spaz is (as if one needs facts opposed to simply watching a game), opposed to offering reasons why he isn't he says, "we'll see". Nothing like having arguments to back up your opinion.

His comments are now unmoderated so it's fun to troll him, Hugh G Rection has made an appearance.
