2 run homer for Washington makes it 9-6 in their favor in the bottom of the 6th. The game was briefly on ESPNU, which is having rotating coverage of the tournament it seems.

Do we like a Washington win here? Does it simplify things in the bracket?

Coastal would be tough to beat twice on their home field. Rather see Washington win this one (in many innings).

Given Washington's defense and lack of pitching depth, I'd prefer if they're the team we have to get through twice

Preferred outcome. As others were saying, I'd rather only have to beat Coastal once and UW twice instead of the other way around.

Hopefully Kersten is up for the challenge tomorrow because Coastal hits the snot out of the ball.

Not sure where this preferred outcome is coming from as Washington has clearly been the best team at this regional. Tall order either way but it starts at noon tomorrow.

They hit Kirsten effectively the game we beat them earlier. Need him to have a quality start tomorrow. God knows who we would play UW twice but we need to have that problem.
