Title pretty much says it all.

Of course you want to win- but you don't want to risk any injuries prior to the BET & NCAA Tourney.

You also don't want to risk the (slim) chance of falling off of the 1-seed line (you could make a case that we're still a 1-seed even if we lose @ Marquette and Providence). Arizona and co. are very far behind in the race for the last one seed.

How would you proceed? How will Hurley?

You think Dan Hurley is taking a foot off the pedal? What team are you watching?

Nothing will change in the approach. But I do expect a similar size letdown/hangover Wednesday as we saw in Omaha.

I also expect a similar size kick in the arse after it from the staff.

At this point, Hurley should try to run the table. If they lose 3 in a row, Uconn won't be a #1 seed. DC might be the only to give extra rest and watch his minutes.

Beat Marquette and rest starters in Providence. Their court is an ice rink. If we lose to Marquette, gotta play everyone in Providence, imo.

Coach is unlikely to change his approach in the next game at all. They might have a discussion among coaches before Providence depending on how players are performance wise and health wise. Maybe be a little more cautious with certain guys and try to work on some stuff that he sees as beneficial down the road. I don't think he likes to "plan" to save guys but if the opportunity permits during that game it might be worth considering.

Dumb to even think we'd consider resting guys or take our foot off the gas.
That's not in Hurley's MO.
Also, we want to keep the 1 seed in NCAA tourney. Losing next 2 games and not winning BET could put 1 seed at risk.

Go all out to win both. Put fear in future opponents. We want to win not only today's game, but the next.

On a practical level, we need to run the table to get the #1 overall seed.

The only thing that might be slightly different is, if we're up big on Providence, pulling the starters a little earlier than usual, like Geno did last night.

Hurley is killing it. He’s doing really well in all aspects. He’ll keep going balls out. There won’t be any coast to the finish line.

I agree with the Solo comments. Solo needs a little more run. We may need him. I want him ready to play. Fortunately, he came in and seemed good today.

You go full throttle against Marquette.

If they beat Marquette part of me would love UConn to play Providence likes it's a JV scrimmage. Nothing like thumbing your nose at little PeeCee like not even treating it like a game that matters.

Lose to Marquette and you go balls to the wall against PeeCee.

The only thing that will kill us this week is the Norovirus which is running through every team ( including Hall and Marquette) the last few days.
