By not hiring an agent we can be 99.99% sure he has no intention of not coming back. Even if he's told he's a second rounder (which he's not even that, IMO) he still will likely not leave for D-league play and no guaranteed contract.
The new rules help out the player but they won't do any favors for the BY paranoia

Some of the connected posters strongly hinted that DHam was leaning towards declaring last year when he was even less ready. Declaring under the new rules is a no brainer, but I won't be shocked if he stays in.
No he is not. He is doing what any prospect with his ability would do given the new rules. He is working out and getting constructive advice on what to work on. Borges suggests that Purvis, Brimah, and Adams may do the same.......its a new world we live in.He's hoping for a promise.
He will be back, and if not, that's when we take a hard look at Prince Ali.
We have Larrier and Vance Jackson. There's no need to look for another similar player if DHam leaves.
Getting nervous .... 2nd round pick?

I doubt either of those guys will be able to contribute anything close to what Hamilton contrbuted as a freshman, nevermind this past year. People love to overrate our recruits. We have Larrier and Vance Jackson. There's no need to look for another similar player if DHam leaves.
