These two wonderful basketball players will be missed. They both played their hearts out yesterday, and both of them went out with a bang.

Lou scored 25 points in 30 minutes, was 9-13 overall, and 4-7 from the 3 point line, and she went 3 for 3 from the foul line. AND, she did all that on a painful knee. Wow!

Dorka gave us 13 points and 10 rebounds in 36 minutes, her last of MANY double-doubles as a UConn post.

It was heart warming at the end of the game when Lou dribbled out the ball in the last 10 seconds of the game, then bent over in pain and sadness. It was Caroline Ducharme who came over to console Lou and help her off the court. This team stayed together for each other until the very end.

Cheers Dorka and Lou! Here's to hoping you both are smacking it down in the WNBA this summer!

Beautiful post, they both will be missed. Doesn't Lou have one more year of eligibility left?? I'm kidding but I wish. Hope they are both successful at the next level, whatever level that is. Hopefully both end up in the WNBA.

Our two most mature players as well, which is why it was these two who responded the best last night to the what tOSU threw at the team. That will be sorely missed next year, and I think Paige will have to provide much of that grounding because this group of players is going to need it.

During the post-game media both Lou and Dorka put their emotions on full display. That was something of a gift to us fans and totally reinforced what beautiful people they both are. THANK YOU ladies and we will miss you enormously.

Going to miss these two greatly. Wish we could have had both of them for longer, but they put their hearts and souls into this program and it was a joy watching them this year and watching Dorka develop her game even more over the past two years.

Lou's performance against tOSU reminded me of Evina's performance in the NC game last year; playing hurt but trying to go all out to walk away with a win.

Best of luck to them both, they will absolutely be missed!
