Not many in my social circle/friends are as passionate about UConn as I am when it comes to hoops. Matter of fact when I start up about the yard or hoops they all start tapping their inner arm as if I'm getting ready to inject heroin, reference to addiction. Friends got to love um.

My boy Bogey - best cat ever. RIP two plus years now. @Imdone refers to my response after UC told me that after 35 years of being a season ticket holder and donating tens of thousands of dollars to the school .... I needed to pony up $8,000 a year to keep my seats.

I am the god of a lot of things, god of music, god of archery, god of healing, god of truth, god of the sun. My daily job is to use my chariot and pull the sun across the sky. My tree is the laurel, my bird is the crow and my animal is the dolphin. I also taught man medicine

My man Mystic Bowie (Tom Tom Club/Talking Dreads) was playing a fundraising event somewhere in the valley 2005-ish? Mike Thut, a great photographer, was taking pictures for the organizers. After the set, Mike grabbed Mystic and asked him to take a picture with two attendees. In his typical Jamaican attitude, Bowie said "who are these people?". Good thing Thut recognized valley/UConn legends Maria Conlon & Danny O. I have original print, might be the only one that exists.

After a lifetime being a dog owner, when my old guy passed, my wife brought home a new orange tiger kitten. I was surprised at how strongly we bonded, and he was a dog/cat - following me around the house, always wanting to be near me. When he died of cancer, I chose the avatar as a nod to him (well aware that the high school and colleges I received degrees from all have dogs as mascots). His name was "Cheddie" short for cheddar.
