The Euro 16 draw was earlier today, and France could not have selected a better group for themselves.

Group A: France, Romania, Albania, Switzerland
Group B: England, Russia, Wales, Slovakia
Group C: Germany, Ukraine, Poland, N Ireland
Group D: Spain, Czech Republic, Turkey, Croatia
Group E: Belgium, Italy, Ireland, Sweden
Group F: Portugal, Iceland, Austria, Hungary

Top 2 teams from each group, and the 4 best 3rd place teams advance to Round of 16.

That was my initial reaction too, and then the "experts" on ESPN or Fox (whichever one broadcast the draw) all agreed with one another that Group F should be the most competitive group. We'll find out next summer.

Group A Runner Up v. Group C Runner Up
Group B Winner v. Third place A/C/D

Group D Winner v Third Place B/E/F
Group A Winner v. Third Place C/D/E

Group C Winner v Third Place A/B/F
Group F winner v Group E Runner Up

ESPN make my hand hurt because I keep punch my TV screen when the utter some nonsense about soccer, how everything wrong with the NCAA is UConn's fault, that UNC did nothing wrong, Coach Calipari is a great coach, just misunderstood, etc.
