Not sure if this is the best place to post this but ESPN (main channel, mot the deuce or U) has a two hour show covering next season's SEC schedule.

Pisses me off with the levels they will go to marginalize basically everyone else.

They’re not marginalizing anybody. They’re simply promoting one of their key brands which they’ve spent hundreds of millions of dollars to own. The only people who will watch a 2 hour SEC Schedule reveal are already SEC Fans, so this show is preaching to the choir.

Both things can be true.

The difference is stark. ESPN had a two hour special on both the SEC 2024 schedule and the ACC schedule. SEC’s was on ESPN and SECN…and the ACC’s was on the ACCN.

A 2 hour special on the ACC schedule reveal would be tough for anyone to watch.

Or a two hour SEC schedule reveal....2 hours on the subject is only for fanatics...of which there are many in the deep south.

ESPN lost the plot a long time ago. At this point they might be better off going back to broadcasting rodeo, AWA Wrestling and Australian Rules Football like they did in the early 80's.

At least those are events. ESPN manufactures content out of thin air now.

They work harder on the schedule reveal than the nba draft, which didn’t feature a single interview with a member of an nba front office or coach.
