Wow! I just had my account suspended for 24 hours for saying... "I just took a huge ESPN!"

Well it either forced change to policy or accelerated a planned change. It appears that ESPN is now going the Courant route to prevent "anonymous" posters:

"Effective July 17, ESPN will be transitioning all conversations to Facebook comments. At that time a Facebook account will be required to post comments on new articles. Previous comments and conversations will be closed to comment but can still be viewed."

Sensorship. I don't have a Facebook account and am resisting getting one. Not that they care, but ESPN.com is coming dangerously close to coming off my favorites tab.

We have been heard, but Aresco better not relent!

I bet he settles for an AltaVista page without knowing Yahoo is killing it off next week.

Wow... surprised it still exists.

Isn't there a recent movie where someone uses AltaVista instead of Google?

That's what will end up happening. Tons of "fraudulent" accounts on FB with names like Nicky Newark and Jay UConn. Kind of silly.
