ESPN 2012 Combine NYC Results

Some local kids did pretty well in the event. David Coggins (WR/Sacred Heart, Waterbury) finished #5 overall. Joan Toribio (RB/Torrington) ran the second fastest 40-time (4.57).

David Campbell from Bloomfield also in the mix. Has anyone seen him play? Hasn't Coach P recruited one or two decent players from Bloomfield before?

coggins did him self real well. that bc offer is still there and he will land more. i hope he values uconn and stays home to play for us. PP is on him.

5'11, 180, Junior ran a season best 6.65 (55m) at CT Open State Track Meet. He's not a burner, which could hurt him as a recruit. Was timed at 4.76 in the 40-yard dash, which is relatively slow for an FBS RB. Rushed for nearly 1000 yards and 6 TDs for Bloomfield High. His twin brother Michael (QB, 6'1, 180) threw for over 2200 yards, 21 TDs, 9 INTs, and rushed for nearly 500 yards and 16 TDs, as a Senior, in 2011. David was held back a grade before he entered Bloomfield High.
