Tonya Boone? At first I thought it was Tonya Cardoza maybe before a name change, then realized Cardoza went to UVA. I had to look up Tonya Boone, apparently a starter in that game.

So funny seeing the manual score sheets. All computerized now. Reminded me of the days back when I was a baseball coach and we did the same thing - drawing lines around the diamond when a player advanced around the bases, filling it in if they scored, etc. How times have changed!!

Kyla Irwin’s mom, Bethany Collins Irwin, played for Penn State in the mid to late 80’s. Did UConn play Penn State during those years? A boneyarder with an old media guide might be able to check it out.

That clearly was in the 1993-1994 season. That season UConn made a huge jump going deep in the NCAA
tournament compared to the last 2.

Jamelle's kind of game: making two of the opponent's starters foul out, only fouling twice, 10 for 14 from the field, 1 for 1 from three point range, 1 block and one steal to make up for only two turn-overs, with 3 assists. 26 points in 29 minutes of playing time... Got to love Jamelle!!!!
