If Doris Burke has any information, I'm going to be the last one to hear about it because I have her on permanent mute.

I don't mind Doris, although she does talk too much on some points. But she could do some rudimentary research and report more information on the realignment of my than our conference. Teddy Greenstien from the Trib is the best B1G insider and he says he didn't know about Rutgers and Maryland until the day before it was announced. Doris... Please.

To be fair, there was one insider (a Maryland Rival/24/7) that got wind of the possibility that UMD could be leaving several days before it was announced (ESPN reported it on a Saturday the 17th, the report came out something like the Tuesday before). That snowballed into some radio talk show discussion. It was one of the reasons that the decision came so quickly. Delany didn't want a repeat of the circus when Nebraska joined.

I might switch the last two. She makes my brain hurt.

$10,000,000 and 27 months.
I'm sure we could out sooner in exchange for all or a portion of NCAA money and Big East exit fee money.

If there's one thing we've noticed, it's that the exit shackles are negotiable.
