I've had a bladder stone jammed up about 1/4" from freedom for 6 days now. You don't know pain like this and I pray you never do.

Shot a 90 at Richter today, pissed all over myself on every 4th-5th hole though.

Why?

You think @Chief00 is going to find this thread and interject himself in to it making it about himself?

I'm afraid he may predict another dam break and actually be right this time.

This thing is so close to the tip I could probably wrench it out myself. I'm just petrified something I'm not prepared for is going to shoot out;

Didn't bother me when it was in my bladder.

I've been doing crunches hoping I suck it back in because this thing hurts coming out.

There are plenty of sites on the interwebs that can help motivate you to achieve that. So I've been told.

Can't they blast it with ultrasound so it can pass in semi tolerable chunks?

I had prostate surgery last October and they found out then I had bladder stones. I'm seeing a specialist at Mt Sinai on 5/10 to discuss having them removed this Summer. It seems I may be able to cancel that appointment at the expense of having a functional penis.

My co-pays pretty high and I'm 50 so I call that a wash.

You have another 20 years before you have to start thinking like that, I'd be aggressive.

I have kidney stones that flare up about every three years and I can't pass them. I have them blasted with ultrasound. Insurance gets billed $25k each time (complete BS scam for a 20 minute outpatient, non-surgical procedure) and it costs me $2,500 out of pocket each time, but the pain is so bad, I want them gone.

I appreciate that BuckleyNerd. It was more of a joke though. I'm spending whatever it takes to have these removed. Point is, I'd pay double to have a doc remove them instead of what I'm going through.

And I was a Buckley resident too back in the day. 6th South- 88-89

, I was 6S too! Hope you feel better, there is some really high tech/quality stuff to handle stones nowadays.

The hierarchy of the solid geologic masses we find within ourselves, and then pass through:

I am not an expert, but my friend, who professes to be one, assures me that crystals are somewhere near the apex. My friend also mentions gravel, but isn’t that more of an aggregate in the pedestrian sense?

A boulder, a rock, a stone, a pebble, or sand...

Diamonds and crystals somehow fit in, somewhere in the middle. Right?

Each would be painful to pass, but some are worth more than the others at the receiving end.

Your photo of the stone, or whatever, was zoomed in on a $1 bill; so I’m guessing you do not value it particularly highly?!?. Less than $1, perhaps?

My assumption is that it wasn’t a diamond you passed?!?

If the next stones that you suffer through shine back in emerald green or ruby red, give me a call.

Just kidding, internal stones, even semi-precious stones are incredibly painful.
