I really like #42 Jayla Scaife. She is a local girl (to me) and I have watched her play since my wife coached her in elementary ball. Very smart player that reads and reacts well and can do a variety things well and rebounds well for her size. She was almost always the most athletic person on the floor in HS. It will be interesting to see her play the likes of UConn. I hope UConn makes a return trip soon!

Don't forget that just before the season started that Dayton long-time coach Jim Jabir stepped down in September.

They have 6 players that are 6'2 or bigger. However only 1 of those players averages more than 3.7 points per game!

this Dayton team is not at the level of the team that put a scare into UConn as we all remember, plus they have lost an excellent head coach............still a pretty sound team that could possibly make it a tussle for a while anyway............
