Seattle's vaunted defense taking a break. Dallas puts up 14 in the first 4 minutes of the game.

Here comes the Storm. Went from down 6 to up 1 in a hurry.

Dallas going toe to toe w/ Seattle w/out Ogunbowale scoring much. Stewie off to a slow start for Seattle, only 1 bucket almost thru the end of the quarter.

Not me. Won't help Minnesota any. Are you hoping for Las Vegas or LA to overtake the Storm?

Of course! SEA seems to be the worst matchup for MIN. I’d like to see them fall to the #3 seed, where not only would they get less rest, they’d be vulnerable to getting knocked off in a one-game playoff series.

LV finishes against Minnesota, LA and Seattle. They are gonna have a lot to say about the standings of the top 4.

55-54 Seattle at the half. I'd prefer less of a shootout and I don't know, maybe play a little defense? Both teams shooting over 50% from the floor.

Stewie has 11 pts 7 reb 3 assists. Poor shooting, again, for her. It's past time to get out of this funk. 3-9 from the floor. Howard, Loyd and Bird all have 8, Sue w/ 5 assists.

Ogunbowale made up for Q1 in Q2, now has a game high 15. She has 7 FTA, almost as many as Seattle has as a team. Sabally has 12 and Gray 11. KLS has 3 reb and 3 assists but is scoreless, only 1 FGA.

Some of Arike's drives and +1's are really very impressive. She gets in a zone And being defended by Clark. Problem is the more she goes 1 on 5, the more chance her teammates become fans.

Well, Sabally's not a spectator. Game high 20 for her.

Little run to end Q3 for Seattle, up 81-74. 18 for Loyd, 17 for Stewie, 12 for Howard, 8 pts/8 assists for Bird.

23 for Sabally, 15 for Arike, 13 for Gray.

So...Arike hasn't scored in the 2nd half. I'm gonna assume Clark put the clamps on her. AC has almost matched her scoring as well. :)

Storm up 10 w/ 2+ minutes left.

107-95 final.

Stewie and Loyd both had 23. 11 reb/6 assists as well for Stew. 16 pts/8 reb for Howard, 14 for Clark, 10 pts/9 assists for Bird. Nice having Canada back, 8 pts/5 assists off the bench, much better option as a backup PG than Prince.

25 for Sabally, 17 for Gray, 15 for Arike (but scoreless the final 20 minutes!).

While the Storm didn't quite mathematically clinch a top 2 finish, pretty darn close. Storm would have to go 0-2, LA 2-0 and LV 2-1 (with the loss to LA) for a 3 way tie at 17-5. No idea how the tie breakers would work. Storm get an exhausted Phoenix in 2 days.

edit--oops, apparently they did clinch according to a tweet in another thread

Maybe a rest game coming for Bird?

What are we seeing here? Are both injured? That would be horrible.

I think it looked pretty serious. Both needed help off the court. Sue definitely hurt her knee (the bone bruise?) looked to be holding back tears on the bench as if she knows something. Hope I am overreacting

Crap. This has been a trying season for her.

Sabally has been battling injuries as well (that is her isn't it?).

That's the worst photo I've seen on the Boneyard. Fortunately, both Sue and Satou walked away from it.

Satou looked really good, a future star.

Arike was scoreless in the second half and shot 4-15.

Stewie looked like an MVP to me. She does everything.

Mabrey was -20, and Lou was +4.
