Georgetown shot out of the minds and the refs tried to give the game to them at every turn and we still won by double digits. It wasn’t pretty but I’ll take it.

Agreed. Georgetown was pulling shots outta their ass all game long. What you hope to do on defense is make them go one on one and take tough shots. They did that all game long and Georgetown just kept making them. Some ridiculously tough shots they made look easy. Not much you can do about that.

Usually a team will have one or two players with "career" games against us. This time, all GT starters got into double figures! That is a pretty complete game by them. Can't ask for a lot more. But, they lost to a team good enough to neutralize that. A hot Joey C helped in the 2nd half, but we got contributions up and down the line-up. I am guessing GT got a little tired thanks to our depth.

It will take something unique to defeat this UConn team this year, that's for sure.
